Cabins
Cabin rentals in Valdez, Alaska provide the perfect accommodation for visitors who want to experience Alaskan comfort.
Cabins In Town
Wake up close to the best Valdez has to offer! Local nightly cabin rentals are available right in town. Cabins in town are within walking distance of Valdez's major hiking trails, museums, restaurants, tours, and shops. Yet, despite being in town, they still offer breathtaking views of the Chugach Mountains that surround Valdez and the many varieties of wildlife that roam or fly around town.
Eagles Rest RV Park offers 18 cabins in downtown Valdez, located at the base of the Chugach Mountains and looking out onto the Valdez Duck Flats and Port Valdez. Every cabin is equipped a television with cable. The standard size cabins feature a smaller kitchen with a sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The larger deluxe cabinet offers a fully furnished kitchen and dining table, in addition to a second television in the bedroom. Totem Hotel offers ten cabins along Kobuk Drive, just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and Small Boat Harbor where day cruises and fishing charters depart from. Each of the Totem's cabins is furnished with a full kitchen, bathroom, Queen sized bed and additional sofa bed.
Cabins Just Out of Town
For those who prefer more scenic accommodations, additional cabins are available a few miles out from Valdez. Robe Lake Lodge offers six unique cabins, each themed after different Alaskan wildlife (the Eagle's Nest, Caribou, Moose, Bear, Wolf and Goat cabins). Valdez KOA Journey offers rentals for five cabins, including traditional Alaskan A-frame camping cabins as well as deluxe cabins featuring cable TV and Wi-Fi. For those who want to experience more rustic cabin life, Valdez Glacier Campground offers dry cabins visitors.
Remote Cabins
For the more adventurous travelers who really want to "get away from it all", Valdez offers three remote cabins at Shoup Bay State Marine Park that are not accessible by the road system. Guests must charter water-taxi service to reach Shoup Bay and the cabins. The Shoup Bay cabins are rustic, so packing is essential. Consult our itinerary A Weekend in Shoup Bay for more details.
