WEST COAST PADDLING FESTIVAL 2026
Coming soon! Details of the first annual event that showcases the most epic paddling destination. Highlights include paddling history by local Valdez Native Tribes, as well as clinics galore and a feature 2 night Paddling Film Festival presentation!
June 2026, heed the call to skim across glacier-fed waters, and dip oars into the first annual West Coast Paddling Festival. The hands-on clinics on safety, self-rescue, techniques, and leave-no-trace will dovetail with the Paddling Film Festival Presentation — each night, held at the auspicious and meet-friendly Valdez Convention and Civic Center. A film and interactive display on Paddling history in Prince William Sound and Alaska Native kayak-building will offer a the historic traditional view of the ancient craft. Tickets on sale soon!
