Coming soon! Details of the first annual event that showcases the most epic paddling destination. Highlights include paddling history by local Valdez Native Tribes, as well as clinics galore and a feature 2 night Paddling Film Festival presentation!
This June 2-4, 2025, heed the call to skim across glacier-fed waters, and dip oars into the first annual West Coast Paddling Festival. The hands-on clinics on safety, self-rescue, techniques, and leave-no-trace will dovetail with the Paddling Film Festival Presentation — each night, held at the auspicious and meet-friendly Valdez Convention and Civic Center. A film and interactive display on Paddling history in Prince William Sound and Alaska Native kayak-building will offer a the historic traditional view of the ancient craft. Tickets on sale soon!
