Glennallen

The community of Glennallen is located at the junction of the Richardson Highway and the Glenn Highway. Travelers will reach Glennallen if they travel on the Glenn Highway east from the Mat-Su Valley, or on the Richardson Highway, either coming south from Fairbanks or heading north from Valdez. 

Lodging is available in Glennallen at Glennallen's Rustic Resort B&B. While in Glennallen, make sure to check out the Greater Copper Valley Visitor Center

Tolsona Mud Volcanoes

About ten-miles west of Glennallen, on Mile 172 of the Glenn Highway, are the Tolsona Mud Volcanoes.

Aspen Interpretive Trail

This is an easy trail in Glennallen, located near Mile 187 of the Glenn Highway, on Co-Op Drive. The trail is approximately one-mile round trip, and is on a public easement over private land, so remain on the designated trail. This is a great area to look for wildflowers during the summer!
