Board of Directors

Discover Valdez is a non-profit organization (501(c)6) and the official tourism marketing entity for the City of Valdez.

The organization is governed by its by-laws and guided by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors are residents of Valdez in accordance to the corporations by-laws. Each 3rd Monday of each month, the board of directors meet. When a Monday falls on a Public Holiday, the meetings are moved to the next working where possible.

Board Members Must be located in the Valdez Borough, be over the age of 18, and be an active member (personal or business member) of Discover Valdez (VCVB).
