PWSC: Enamel Jewelry

In this class, students will get the opportunity to create beautiful enameled jewelry. The process of enameling entails layering glass on top of copper using heat. You'll love it because the colors are vibrant, and there is an element of mystery to what you create since you never quite know how it will turn out until it cools! There will be many copper shapes available in small, medium, and large sizes.

You can expect to create finished earring pairs and/or necklace pendants (to string on your own necklace chains), you'll be able to produce multiple pieces in this class.
To protect ourselves from the glass dust and the torching process, we will be wearing dust masks and safety glasses. The University requires masks to be worn at all campuses due to Covid.
