- BEACON & EGGS is coming up on Saturday, April 8th! Parks & Recreation and the Valdez Avalanche Center are partnering to bring this annual event to the community. Join us at Salmonberry Ski Hill for a fun and educational event focusing on avalanche awareness and backcountry safety skills while hunting for Easter eggs! All ages are welcome.
