Valdez is located in the South Central region of Alaska, 300 miles Southeast of Anchorage and 360 miles South of Fairbanks. Nestled between the majestic Chugach Mountains and Prince William Sound, Valdez is accessible via the Richardson Highway (Alaska's first highway). A spectacular 40 minute flight from Anchorage or a breathtaking trip via Prince WIlliam Sound by ferry or private charter are also easy and affordable options.
