Valdez Fish Derbies
Valdez is known for fantastic fishing! If it's fishing you love, then Valdez is the place to go. Be sure to pick up a Derby ticket to win money and prizes. The 2012 Valdez Halibut Derby began May 19th and runs through September 2nd. The Kid's Pink Salmon Derby will be held July 7th. The Silver Salmon Derby will begin July 21st and run through September 2nd. The Women's Silver Salmon Derby will be held August 11th. There is over $80,000 in cash and prizes!!
