Valdez Fish Derbies
The 2011 Valdez Halibut Derby began May 21st and runs through September 4th. The Kid's Pink Salmon Derby was held July 16th. The Silver Salmon Derby began July 23rd and runs through September 4th. The Women's Silver Salmon Derby was held August 13th. There is over $80,000 in cash and prizes!!
Valdez Fly In and Air Show
The 2012 Valdez Fly In and Air Show will be held May 11-13, 2012.
4th of July Pink Salmon Festival
A 4th of July weekend full of activities in Valdez was held with the Second Annual Pink Salmon Festival and the annual Independence Day Celebration.
